Nathan Kiyam is an experienced litigator who represents individuals and class actions in complex cases. A major part of his work focuses on employment and consumer matters, especially class actions involving discrimination, retaliation, wage claims, and meal and rest break violations.

Nathan earned his J.D. summa cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, his writing on estate taxes and charitable disclaimers received honorable mention, was published, and was later presented at the Artist Endowed Foundation Forum in New York. He earned ten CALI Excellence for the Future Awards (top grade in class) and additional honors awards. Nathan received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego.
Before joining EmpLaw, Nathan worked on consumer class actions in federal and state courts at a large Los Angeles firm. He has also handled cases against automobile manufacturers and dealerships involving individual and class action claims. Earlier in his career, he spent time with large firms working on corporate and securities matters.
