Nick Schieffelin is an experienced litigator focused on the representation of individuals and businesses in complex litigation. Mr. Schieffelin devotes a significant portion of his practice on employment matters, with an emphasis on discrimination, retaliation, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA claims. He also handles business litigation, product liability, and premises liability cases.
Prior to joining EmpLaw, Mr. Schieffelin represented national banks, a Fortune 100 pharmacy chain, and other businesses in employment and general liability matters. He also spent time at a premier trial firm in Boston, where he represented a diverse group of clients on a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including medical malpractice, securities law, and complex insurance coverage.
A native Rhode Islander, Mr. Schieffelin received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 2003. In 2007, he earned his law degree cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, where he was an editor for the law review.
