Nathan Kiyam

Nathan Kiyam is an experienced litigator having years of experience in various areas of law and representing both individuals and class actions in complex litigation.  Mr. Kiyam devotes a significant portion of his practice on employment and consumer matters which an emphasis on employment class actions, discrimination, retaliation, wage claims, meal and rest break claims, and other related claims.

Prior to joining EmpLaw, Mr. Kiyam represented many consumer class actions in various federal and state courts for a large law firm in Los Angeles.  He has also represented cases against automobile manufacturers and dealerships on various individual and class action claims.  Additionally, Mr. Kiyam spent time with various big law firms working on various corporate and securities matters.

Mr. Kiyam received his law degree summa cum laude from the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he received honorable mention and was published for his writings on estate taxes and disclaimers involving charities and he presented before the Artist Endowed Foundation Forum in 2016 in New York for such writings.  Throughout his law education, he received ten CALI Excellence for the Future Awards given to the student with the highest grade in ten of his classes and two honors awards for two classes. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego.
